It is a new strain of virus that spreads from human to human quickly.


2. How does it spread?
It spreads through people with flu, coughing and sneezing.


3. Which countries in Asia have people with Influenza A H1N1?
The countries in Asia that have people with influenza A are Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, Philippines, Malaysia and Thailand.


4. Do you think the taking of temperature is effective in preventing Influenza A H1N1? Why?
Yes. It is because we can be ready to know who has influenza.


5. What other preventive measures are being taken to stop the spread of this disease in
Singapore?
The other ways are to wear a mask and to keep people with influenza at home.


6. What are you doing to prevent the spread of Influenza A H1N1 disease?
We will cover our mouths when we sneeze or cough.

Holidays

Hurray!The June holidays are just round the corner.I cant wait for that moment to arrive as i can go to many places such AMK hub to watch movies. I can also visit my best friends such as Rae, Hannah and Rui Han.I can go swimming with Rae as my mother trusts her for we had known each other since we were 18 months. Even though i cant go swimming with the others we can go to the park and play.

Exams

Before the exams i had studied hard.even though i had studied hard i still struggled with some questions.I was not so sure if i could get close to full marks.After a few days i got my marks back i was so HAPPY that i had past my exams with flying colours my family are quite proud with me i think they are going to reward me.Anyway now that the exams are over i can play the computer more often but i still have to study for my end of the year exams.

1. Do you think your classroom is clean? Why/Why not?
yes.i think my classroom is clean because everyday a cleaner will come and clean our classroom

2. Why do you think it is important to keep the classroom clean?
it is important to keep the class clean because personal hygiene is essential, otherwise we will get sick easily.
3. How do you keep your classroom clean every day?
we sweep the floor when we are free.

i participate in cleaning the white board.


5. What have you learnt from this activity?
i have learnt that we can help teachers prepare for the next lesson so that the teacher wont have to do it .

I understand that we must do our part to stop Earth from being destroyed.

So that we will not run out of them. There is a limited amount of everything on earth.

We must recycle our things like plastic, cans and paper, and not waste anything.

international friendship day

1. Why do we celebrate International Friendship Day?
we celebrate international friendship day so that we get to know people that have different races such as the Tamil pupils, Malay, Chinese and the Eurasians.
2. What does ASEAN stand for?
ASEAN stands for Association of South-east Asian Nations.
3.What is your knowledge about ASEAN?
The ASEAN has 1o countries.here are the list of ASEAN countries,Singapore, Malaysia, Laos,Cambodia,Indonesia,Myanmar,Thailand,Vietnam,Philippine and Brunei Darrussalam.

4. Do you like the activities organised by the school on International Friendship Day? If not, Why? If 'yes', why?
Yes.I like the activities because we get to learn more about the other cultures.

WHAT I LIKE AND DISLIKE ABOUT MY SCHOOL

1. What or which aspect/s of the school do you like very much? Why?
I like the school library most of all because it is clean and has an air-con. It is also quiet enough for us to read.


2. What or which aspect/s of the school do you think you dislike? Why?
I dislike the toilets most because they have alot of litter on the floor and they are very smelly.


3. What do you think can be done to improve it/them?
The library does not need any more improvements but the cleaners can clean the toilets more regularly or when we go to the toilet we should pick up the litter on the floor and throw it in the bin.


4. What other areas of the school should be improved?
We can improve the canteen by putting more chairs and tables for us to sit.


5. How can pupils help in the improvement of the school?
Pupils can help in the improvement of the school by not throwing rubbish on the floor.

my weekends

during the weekends i had a very fun time! well on saturday i stayed at home and i did nothing well that was not fun at all! on sunday, that was a fun day. i went out swimming with my best friend we spent half the day together i went to a country club to go swimming after swimming we ordered a few sandwitches. while waiting for the sandwitches,witch took very long,we had 15 minutes to play in two playgrounds. finally the sandwitches were ready and we gobbled it down like hungry wolfs. after i ate finished the sandwitches i went home tiredly it was a fun day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

my i week holiday

during the one week holiday i had to go to my mother's office everday because my father was over seas and no one could take care of me at home. the whole week i had been in my mothers office and i had made a few friends i liked them because they gave me sweets and snacks they even took me out for lunch when my mother had to attend a meeting i also drew pictures of them so that they could see my appreciation i had a fun time at my mother's office( hip hip hooray for me)
